We all have things that we'd like to improve about ourselves and therapy can be a great place to do that. The beauty of therapy is that it provides a place where you can talk about anything (and everything) with someone who is completely objective and only has your best interest at heart. The key is finding the right therapist, someone you feel comfortable with and trust, to explore the details of your life that may be holding you back.

If you're looking for highly effective individual therapy sessions with a licensed therapist who cares, then you've come to the right place. I work with my clients every step of the way to help them develop new attitudes towards all of life's most complex matters. Has your marriage been in a rut lately, or worse, have you stopped getting along altogether?

Are life's responsibilities taking a toll on your relationship? It might be time to seek help from a licensed professional. My couples therapy sessions help couples develop positive attitudes towards life's most complex and challenging circumstances.
Services
For as long as I can remember, people have been coming up to me to tell me things.
I remember going away with my wife before we were married and getting into a deep conversation with one of the guests on line at the hotel while she stepped away.
When she came back, my wife asked how I knew the person and I told her that we just met at that moment.
She asked how it was possible to be in such a deep, personal conversation in the time that she walked away and came back.
I told her that it happened all the time.
It is not uncommon for people to confuse these two professions and to be sure, similarities do exist.
However, these professions are not interchangeable.
It can become even more confusing as many counselors, like me, are practicing as both professional licensed counselors and certified life coaches.
It's important to note that as a potential client, you might not know exactly which service is right for you.
I have listed some of the major differences and similarities below to help guide you through the decision-making process.
Life coaching is powerful collaboration between a trained professional and a client for the purpose of identifying, achieving and excelling at identified goals.
Goals may be career related, personal, spiritual, professional, financial, emotional or relational by nature.
As your partner in co-creation, I will seek to help you amplify your personal power through the work we do together.
The process of coaching uncovers and illuminates your core competencies, skills, values, passions and talents.
Together we will use these discoveries to accomplish all of your goals!
I have spoken to MANY people over the years (friends, career counselors, psychologists, veterans' reps, and even other career coaches) as well as reading many guidance books about issues related to career and business.
However, until now I wasn't making any real progress because I felt like people were not listening to me or understanding what I was saying (even the psychologists and other career coaches).
However, I find your approach to be different and far more effective, especially the idea of handwriting out your thoughts with regards to career.
You may be familiar with the image of counseling taking place in a therapist's office, client and therapist sitting opposite each other, or perhaps the client lying down on a couch.
While this model is well known and still very much in use, our current-day communication technology makes it possible to access psychological services in the comfort of your own space.
Therapy has changed over the years, as has the consumer.
You value your time, money and energy and want the best care.
In therapy, this translates to more people looking for skills-based treatment delivered efficiently.
