Kalie is the spiritual mentor and life coach I've always been looking for. I've spent years in and out of traditional cognitive behavioral and "talk" therapy but none of this comes close to the type of healing Kalie facilitates. With her holistic and multi-disciplinary background, she helps to target the subconscious programs and belief systems that dictate our behavioral and emotional patterns and transform them in a deep and lasting way.

The things she teaches me about the nature of my spirit help to guide me closer to my authentic self. Each meeting with her provides new insights and tools I can directly apply to my life. I am so grateful to have someone like her to help guide me through and answer the deep questions that arise from my life experiences. I hope to facilitate healing in others someday.

We don't need someone to tell us what's wrong with us.
That is usually the source of our problems.
We need someone who sees "what's right with us" and empowers us to use our innate resources to create the life we want.
As we feel better about ourselves, our behavior changes spontaneously for the better and life becomes more effortless and enjoyable.
All healing methods become more effective when we feel the safety of unconditional love.
Relationships are the most important aspects of our lives, and yet, we receive no special school training in how to be in relationship.
We copy what we have seen our parents or other role models do, which isn't always the greatest.
We usually spend time and money for education to hold a job, but few people have even read a book on how to be in relationship, how to parent, or how to communicate successfully, let alone taken a class in the subject or had counseling.
We don't intuitively know how to parent or how to be a good partner.
These techniques are also helpful in promoting high-level mind-body health and peak performance in the physical, mental and creative arenas of life.
This is a partial list of my favorites.
EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is the best researched and most highly recommended trauma treatment available.
It provides a way for people to free themselves from the resulting destructive memories and behaviors.
EMDR's bilateral stimulation is highly effective for alleviating symptoms, even in cases where years of conventional therapy haven't worked, such as in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
It is time to shine the light on our society's critical approach to life and reevaluate if the approach is in fact working to bring us desirable results.
There is overwhelming evidence that criticism is a destructive force.
In the second chapter, I show why habitual criticism alone qualifies as a dangerous addiction.
In the third chapter, I give examples of how this pervasive negative attitude has become a part of our everyday life, and I list symptoms of critical addiction.
