Namaste, I'm so glad you're here.
The desire to engage in the therapy process is a huge step in your journey, and I am thrilled you are considering allowing me to walk alongside you in it.
As a holistic counselor, I believe in meeting clients where they are at in their counseling journey.
I believe that individuals have the intrinsic ability to want to grow and change, and I think that even when we are stuck, there are pieces of us fighting to want still to do better and grow.
It is our job in counseling process to find these pieces and utilize them to grow and change.
My goal as an outpatient counselor at Phoenix Counseling Services, LLC is to provide a safe space of healing, affirmation, and support.
Taking the first step to ask for support can be scary, and the road to healing is often unclear and non-linear.
I believe the counseling experience to be a collaborative experience in which I will meet you where you are at and I will work alongside of you to identify what it is you would like to change.
Although we often resist change, we deserve a space free of judgment to process change.
I have been working as a therapist for seven years in many different settings, including homeless shelters, in-home therapy, and outpatient counseling.
I love working with individuals, couples, and families in all sorts of situations.
I enjoy helping people find their strengths in order to start their own path toward healing.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I believe that our challenges and strengths emerge from a combination of our personality, biology, family upbringing, environment, stage of life, and current relationships.
