I work at connecting caring support with insight, exploring strengths, identifying self-defeating habits and assumptions, and mapping a path for self-improvement.
I find my work satisfying and rewarding.
I work mostly with adults and teens.
A large part of my practice is with troubled marriages and their failure to communicate needs well or to achieve the experience of understanding and empathy.
Another large part of my practice is individual problem solving and addressing troubled emotions with adults and college students.

I value your story and your unique experience in the world.
I work hard to set aside my own biases, interpretive concepts and diagnoses to take the time to really listen.
I consider it an honor and privilege to support and guide others through the many challenges of life.
I believe interventions and interpretations become relevant after first taking the time to really listen.
Working with middle-schoolers, teens and their families is a specialty of mine- accounting for about two thirds of my practice.
