Dr. K. Heather Koth is a licensed professional counselor specializing in mindfulness and the treatment of food challenges, body image issues, and anxiety.
She is a trained Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist and mindfulness practitioner.
She treats both adolescents and adults.
Her approach to therapy includes mindfulness based practices and skill development.
Dr. Koth is also an adjunct professor, supervisor, and speaker who is passionate about helping others using mindfulness and other skills to improve their overall wellbeing and relationships with others and themselves.
Heather will meet with you to discuss what is happening in your life, how you are being affected, and to discuss solutions in a caring and confidential environment.
You will explore feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, and better understand yourself and others.
Heather has experience working with a broad range of issues, helping people gain relief from their symptoms and create a more meaningful life beyond their pain.
Our skills groups are offered for a range of age groups and areas of focus.
Six-week blended series for those new to mindfulness or for anyone wishing to continue to develop their mindfulness skills.
Mindfulness offers a constructive way to decrease stress, increase presence in all areas of your life, and develop self-care capacities to protect against common emotional difficulties.
The goal of this group is to use mindfulness as a means to further your personal and professional growth, apply mindfulness to everyday life struggles for peace of mind and overall well-being.
