Our owner and CEO, Albert McIntosh, had served many years in administration for a private foster care agency.
Simultaneously, he had been working extra hours seeing clients in a mental health agency as a result of his deep passion for direct practice.
This passion grew into an act of faith and in August of 2014, Hope Behavioral Health was founded as a one-man group private practice in a small, shared office space in Cleveland Heights.
Albert's practice quickly grew as colleagues sought him out to partner in his mission and vision to provide culturally competent, spiritually sensitive, and trauma informed services.

Our office does not bill insurance for psychoeducational testing or assessments and requests payment at the time of service.
A deposit of 50% is due at the beginning of your first appointment and reports will be released with payment of the balance.
When your account is paid in full, a receipt will be provided that you may submit to your insurance provider and/or FSA/HSA (Flexible Spending Account/Health Savings Account.)
Please note that a 24-hour notice is required for cancellations to avoid being billed for the appointment.
