Katy Pytte, MS, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed School Counselor with specialized training in working with children, adolescents and families. Katy received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee in 1992.
Katy has been licensed in the state of Colorado since 1999. Katy has over 20 years of experience providing counseling support to children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings. Katy has worked with youth in out of home placements, as a school counselor, in community agencies, and also in private practice. Katy is currently working full time in her private practice.

Katy provides primarily individual therapy and parent coaching.
As of Fall 2017, Katy has a trained Havanese therapy dog available as an additional resource at her office.
Therapy dogs have been shown to improve communication, social skills, decrease anxiety, improve trust, empathy and coping mechanisms.
While this in no way replaces the therapeutic techniques that Katy utilizes, it can enhance the counseling experience.

Turn west on 22nd Street.
Take your first right which is an alleyway.
Pass a smaller blue/grey Victorian house on your right.
Continue along the side of larger green/grey Victorian house.
There is a west or side entrance.
You will see 3 blue parking signs with Katy Pytte, Janet Curry and Amie Bryant written on them.
Park in any of those 3 spots and come in that side door.
Go up the stairs and you will be in the waiting room.
