For more than 20 years I have helped people deal with anxiety, loss, grief, depression, relationship issues, addiction-related problems, work struggles, abuse and neglect. My practice includes counseling individuals and couples going through life changes such as marriage, divorce, births, deaths and illnesses. I am experienced in crisis situations and can arrange to see you without delay if you are feeling a sense of urgency.
I earned my master's degree from SUNY-Albany and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the New York state Education Department. I am a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. I am also a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work through the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work. This certification in advanced practice means I meet and maintain high standards in clinical education, training and experience.
As a private practitioner, I provide care tailored to your needs and goals, and I offer a welcoming, quiet environment.

Counseling also helps regain balance when we feel that our foundation has been shaken.
