Making the choice to come to counseling is the first courageous step in starting the journey to emotional awareness and mental clarity. It can be intimidating when starting counseling to think about the potential pain, hurt, or imperfections that may be discovered through out this new voyage. At Dupage Clinical Counseling Services you will be provided a safe and supportive environment, where we as counselors will partner up with you, to guide you through the path of personal growth and self awareness.

As a practice we feel it is important that we use a variety of techniques, methods, principles, and philosophies to create a treatment plan that is tailored to each individual, couple, or family. No issue is too big or too small. We provide counseling services to individuals, couples, children and adolescents, and families. Dupage Clinical Counseling Services in Lombard, and Frankfort, IL has a mission to provide comprehensive counseling specialized toward each individual client(s).
Our goal is to help each client develop a plan of action to work through and solve any issues they face.
As counselors our role is to use guidance, motivation, accountability, and clinical interventions to help our clients make changes and achieve the life transformation that they desire.
Individual therapy or counseling is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist-in a safe, caring, and confidential environment-to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Couples counseling is a process through which a couple (who may be engaged, dating, married, or partnered) works with a trained therapist to identify specific areas of conflict and/or aspects of their relationship they would like to change, and then develops a plan of action to improve each individual's satisfaction and contentment.
Day 1: Meet for the initial oral interview, during the oral interview the therapist will gather information and discuss the presenting issues.
Each partner will have an individual session which are 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hour sessions.
Day 2: Develop treatment plan with the therapist based off what the therapist observed of day 1, along with the information that was provided in the oral interview and the individual sessions.
Couples will be introduced to the Sound House and the Four horseman's prediction of divorce.
We understand that you have made the first step to seeking assistance and we know that was not easy.
So, as a practice we never want you to feel overwhelmed, our goal is to make the rest of the process as easy as possible.
