Often, we have experienced difficult times in the past that contribute to our current struggles. Here at Healing & Growth Counseling, we utilize a trauma-informed approach, understanding that sometimes it is necessary to heal past wounds in order to grow and move forward. Here we have a strong belief in meeting each person where they are, and walking with them, side-by-side, on a journey of self-discovery and progress.
We will work with you at a pace that feels comfortable, but will also push and challenge you in safe and healthy ways. Counseling, or therapy, is a process in which one joins with a clinician to address concerns in their lives and identify and work towards goals for the future.
This process may include reviewing and reprocessing emotions related to past experiences, learning and using healthy coping skills in the present, and working through feelings and emotions that you may be struggling with.
The counseling process can be short or long, depending on your needs.
Counseling is designed to be individualized, meaning that your clinician will gain an understanding of who you are and work with you in the best way to help you achieve your goals.
