We seek to help individuals, couples and families through professional counseling, life coaching, and support services, integrating Biblical principles if our clients choose. Louise received a Masters in Biblical Studies from Alliance Theological seminary in 2002, and a Masters in Counseling from Nyack College Alliance Graduate School of Counseling in 2004.
Louise did her internship for counseling working in substance abuse counseling at St. Lukes Hospital in Newburgh. Louise formed At The Crossroads in 2004 to satisfy the growing need for Christian Counseling in the Hudson Valley. Louise is a Registered Play Therapist and Supervisor of Play Therapy training. Louise enjoys incorporating play therapy into her counseling with CHILDREN, and often with adults.
Louise holds additional certifications, including: Life Coaching, Critical Incident Stress Management (Basic Level), and Prepare/Enrich Premarital/Marital assessments, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Imago Relationship Therapy.

If parents are able to acquire new skills and insights, problems can be addressed more effectively.
One of our counselors will work with the children, and another with the parents, with coordination and sharing of information (with appropriate releases) to target the right problems with all the resources at our disposal.
We will work with the school system, as well, when required.
