Dr. Paul Coleman is a psychologist, multi-book author, and speaker/trainer with over 30 years experience. He is considered one of the foremost experts in healing grief after loss (break-ups, health crises, loss of a loved one) and on improving relationships (at home and work settings). As a therapist, he has logged over 50,000 client-contact hours and is an expert in treating Stress and Anxiety Disorders such as PTSD and Panic Disorder.

Dr. Coleman's books and vast array of expertise has landed him on shows such as OPRAH and TODAY and he has been a guest on dozens of radio programs across the country and internationally. Here is a brief video--the first in a new series I've developed called "Peace Talks." The videos offer advice on the journey all of us go on when life takes a surprising turn.

I hope you enjoy them. To have priority access to the remaining 19 videos in the series please subscribe to my YouTube Channel or sign up for my free Newsletter. If you are suffering right now, if you are scared, angry, grieving a loss, hurt, or simply disillusioned by life's letdowns and unmet longings, you are viewing your world through eyes that have been trained to see some things but no other things.
Services
THANK YOU SO MUCH for inquiring about psychotherapy and other consulting services I offer.
I work only with adults (individuals and couples) but not children or teenagers.
In addition to specializing in relationship and marital issues, I am also an expert in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
I also specialize in Grief Counseling and have written a book "Finding Peace When Your Heart Is in Pieces: A Step by Step Guide to the Other Side of Grief, Loss, and Pain."
Treatment varies considerably depending upon such factors as the severity and duration of the problem, amount of support from others, and degree of ongoing stress.
Someone with a severe problem of many years duration and minimal support from others will require more sessions than someone whose problem is recent, not too severe, and who has a good support network in place.
At this office, about 15% of my clients have five or fewer sessions.
Another 15% require thirty of more sessions.
The rest receive between 6-20 sessions with the average being about twelve.
