The Integrative approach empowers one not only to solve personal problems but also to achieve psychological growth and a sense of well-being. I practice the belief that all people deserve to live authentic, fulfilling lives. Psychotherapy helps individuals to develop an active and genuine expression of one's self. People have a great capacity for growth and change, and having a knowledgeable guide during that process is incredibly helpful.

Relationships with others are a central component in our lives. Partners, children, parents, family and friends influence and impact the way we live day to day. Even relationships from our past can affect the way we feel now. I have a particular strength in helping people understand and change relationships.
Services
Individuals: Individual therapy is appropriate for those dealing with personal feelings of depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem or for those who are seeking personal refinement and/or self-identity within relationships.
Many individuals will seek therapy to work through specific life changes or stressful life events such as loss/grief, illness, relocation and interpersonal relationship issues.
Those in couples or family therapy may also find benefit with individual sessions to explore inner thoughts & feelings and improve self-evaluation and emotion regulation.
I provide a free 20-minute initial consultation in person or over the phone.
This time is designed to help you decide if therapy is appropriate at this time, or if you feel comfortable working with me.
My fee is $150 per 50-minute therapy hour for individuals, $180 for families, couples or adolescents.
I require payment at the beginning of each session and accept cash, check, or credit card.
I offer a sliding income-based fee under certain circumstances, but will require certain financial information prior to setting a lower fee.
My therapy approach is best described as an Integrative.
Although there are hundreds of psychotherapeutic approaches, it is my experience that many of these different perspectives offer techniques that are complementary and helpful.
I select primarily from these psychotherapy orientations: Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Narrative and Humanistic-Existential.
The Integrative approach empowers one not only to solve personal problems but also to achieve psychological growth and a sense of well-being.
Sometimes talking about personal problems with a close friend, spouse, or other family member is sufficient to gain support and insight.
However, if emotional discomfort or distress persists, or interpersonal conflicts occur repeatedly, then a licensed clinical psychologist can provide needed help and guidance.
An experienced and caring psychologist offers objective insight and scientifically validated strategies for solving personal problems.
If you feel generally unhappy, anxious, angry, confused, shameful, powerless or stressed, or if you continue to repeat behaviors that are harmful to yourself or others, it may be time to seek professional help.
