Welcome to a supportive, holistic and unique counseling experience for adults facing transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, other psychiatric symptoms, and addictions in their own lives and those of their family members. Counseling-caring listening, skillful questioning, and gentle guidance to our own strengths and insights-can enable us to change the course of a day, and potentially our lives.

I provide sessions to individuals in an environment that facilitates comfort and warmth. Our time together can be lighthearted, insightful, heartfelt, and faster than some kinds of traditional therapy. I provide counseling and support for adults who may be facing a life transition (such as a move, career change, or loss of a loved one, ) relationship issues, anxiety, depression, or other psychiatric diagnoses, an addiction, and/or having a family member with these challenges.

By sharing compassion for your struggles, respect for your strengths, and an intuition about what is truly helpful, together we can access well being.

Confidentiality is important as counseling requires a high degree of trust with sensitive subject matter that is sometimes not discussed anywhere but the therapist's office.
I will provide you with a written copy of a confidentiality agreement.
State law and professional ethics require therapists to maintain confidentiality except for the following situations: suspected past or present abuse or neglect of children, adults and elders to the authorities, based on information provided by the client or collateral source; if the therapist has reason to suspect the client has threatened to harm another person.
