For over 40 years Coastal Learning Center's goal has been to facilitate students return to public school and prepare them for life after graduation. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive services through structured education, psychiatric services and counseling to help our students achieve their full potential. Our primary focus is for students to acquire the skills necessary for a useful, productive, and stable life.

Coastal Learning Center was founded in 1974 in Lakewood, New Jersey and has been providing education and counseling services for over 40 years.
Coastal Learning Center opened in Tuckerton, NJ in 1992 and moved to our Northfield Campus in 2011.
The school operates as a private day school providing specialized education and therapeutic services for students ages 5-21.
We provide students with a smaller school setting that puts them at ease and helps them to flourish both academically and socially.

Coastal Learning Center Atlantic offers education and therapeutic services to students ages 5 - 21 with social, emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Students that attend our school have access to a quality education taught by highly qualified teachers.
Our services include: vocational training both at school and in community settings, individual and group counseling, crisis counseling, psychiatric services and medication management, nursing services, speech, OT, and PT.
Our Integrated Counseling Program includes LCSW and MSW Counselors.
