Rebecca Brodersen, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with advanced training in Internal Family Systems Therapy. During her more than a decade of experience teaching at the middle and high school levels, Rebecca began to see the unique needs and challenges facing marriages and families through the eyes of her students. Her Christian faith and an indescribable "tug" led her to pursue her Master's degree and enter a new field.
Through the practice of therapy, she continues to live out her mission of helping people to experience healing and wholeness, but with a different focus. She spent four years working in a community mental health agency on the shoreline, as well as in the town's middle school. There she worked with couples, individuals, families and adolescents. Her primary focus was with couples and individuals experiencing a variety of struggles.
Clients have commented on her compassion, perceptiveness and openness. Her preferred style integrates awareness, mindfulness, self-acceptance and addresses our need for connection with God, self and others.

Most of us become stuck at some point in our journey through this adventure of life: an unexpected life changing event, illness, broken relationship with God, self or others can prompt feelings of hopelessness and despair.
Insecurity, sadness, confusion and pain are part of the human experience.
Fortunately, restored hope, healing and joy are as well.
