At Therapeace Counseling LLC, we are dedicated to providing quality, caring, and confidential services to families, children, adults, and couples. We offer mental health/diagnostic assessments, Rule 25 chemical health assessments, and individualized therapeutic treatment for a wide range of issues. Our jobs as therapists are to help clients realize and navigate life's challenges, by providing support and solution-focused interventions addressing individuals physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our therapeutic approach utilizes elements of various methods including but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, structural, strategic therapies, and motivational interviewing in an effort to help clients meet their individual goals and effectively address personal life challenges.

Aisha received her Master's in psychological studies and educational specialist degree in marriage and family therapy from Seton Hall University in 2004.
Since then, Aisha has worked in different facets of mental health including community mental health, domestic abuse, corrections, employee assistance program (EAP), student wellness programs, and cultural fluidity trainings with the city of Irvington, New Jersey.
Shanelle received her master's of art in marriage and family therapy in 2015.
Her passion is to help children, families, and individuals experiencing relational or behavioral difficulties find healing and an increased sense of well-being.
She also specializes in treating adolescents, families, and couple's who have been affected by trauma including neglect, abuse and attachment trauma.
Shanelle utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAGALA).
Equine therapy is a collaborative approach consisting of a client/clients and psychotherapists and one or more horses.
