Dr. Phansalkar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (ABPN) & Diplomate of American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM).
He is the Medical Director of New England Counseling Center.
After his psychiatry training at Cork University in Ireland, he completed his residency training in Psychiatry from Louisiana State University (LSU) at Shreveport.
He was the Chief Resident at LSU and has participated in a variety of research trials involving psychiatric medications.
While in Louisiana he volunteered as provider in mental health for Hurricane Katrina victims and their families, working for the Red Cross.

Patients are charged $50.00 for missed appointments unless the appointment was cancelled 24 hours or more in advance.
Insurance will not pay a missed appointment charge for you, so please make every effort to inform us 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment.
As a courtesy, we check insurance benefits and seek to obtain appropriate authorization.
However, we cannot guarantee payment by your insurance company or the accuracy of the information they have given to us.
