Suzette Wasvick Counseling Services

I graduated from South Dakota State University in 2009 Master's degree in counseling. I am a License Professional Counselor. I have worked with a wide variety of clients in the Black Hills including clients from Black Hills Works, Black Hills Children's Home and Behavior Management Systems' Crisis Care. When I am not working I spend time in the Black Hills riding my horses or hiking with my dogs.

I celebrate this natural world and I try to bring that celebration to my work. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, a Certified Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist, a member of the Association for Play Therapy, and National Board of Certified Counselors. I provide mental health services to many types of people. I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Animal Therapy.

I treat Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and other issues. I also treat mood disorders including borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder. I enjoy working with couples by fostering communication techniques and defining good relationships pattens.
