Services
People choose In-Home Counseling because it is both convenient and effective.
Some of our clients don't have access to a vehicle, while others face physical disabilities.
Others may fear or simply not wish to leave their homes for a variety of reasons and others, still, are working professionals and/or parents with little time to spare.
However, these circumstances should not stand between you and the treatment you need, to overcome and feel your best.
Our services are unique in that our therapists travel to you for your counseling sessions, which allows you to maximize your time and comfort as you or your child receive exceptional counseling services.
Often, it is hard to handle the changes that come with growing up, managing our lives, and growing older.
School or work stress, illness, daily life pressures, losses, difficult relationships, the stress of caring for a loved one, and other issues can cause depression, anxiety, and emotional difficulties.
Untreated, such depression and anxiety can lead to isolation, panic, lack of interest in caring for self, and increased physical deterioration.
Many adults with families, those with chronic illness or disability, and seniors are unable to access mental health treatment due to physical limitations, lack of transportation, or caregiving issues.
We serve anyone over the age of 11 who is interested in receiving counseling services in their home.
This includes families, couples, seniors, working adults, adolescents and preteens, physically, emotionally, or developmentally disabled adults, and those with persistent or chronic mental illness.
In-Home Counseling (IHC) has several bilingual Spanish-speaking therapists, one Russian-speaking therapist, and one Polish speaking therapist, available to serve certain areas of the metropolitan area.
We are actively expanding, and if you live in an area not listed, please call, we will try to find a counselor for you.
We will attempt to serve anyone who is interested in services, including those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or in transient housing, by meeting with them in a public location (coffee shop, park, library, etc).
