Renewal's professionals work with adults struggling with separation, divorce, remarriage, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, past abuse and trauma, grief, chemical dependency, unemployment, or current life transitions.
We also specialize in working with children and adolescents who have emotional or behavioral challenges such as depression, cutting, suicidal ideation, anxiety, Learning Disabilities, Autism/Asperger's, adjustment difficulties, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and oppositional defiant disorder.

Rachel earned her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology at Loyola University Maryland and has worked in outpatient mental health services for the past five years.
Rachel has experience working with adults and couples, and has assisted clients with working through issues involving life stress/transitions, depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship conflict and rebuilding, communication, and self-esteem.

Renewal has been running social skills groups for over 12 years for young adults, adolescents and children.
The social skills groups are designed for individuals who may have difficulties with making or keeping friends, who are being bullied, withdrawn, isolative, behaviorally acting out, engaging in risk taking behaviors, going through transition(s), or academic difficulties.
Group members' diagnoses may range from Autism/Asperger's, ADHD/ADD, NLD, anxiety, depression, and adjustment to college, work and the like.
