Mind Over Matters offers boutique coaching and therapy services in a private, client confidential, comfortable setting in office or on-line. I specialize in anxiety, stress, and burn-out. I provide therapy and coaching for clients who are perfectionists, people-pleasers, high performers, high achievers, failure-avoiders, over-thinkers, and everyone who is feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and like they aren't measuring up or keeping up.
I aim to develop and enhance Mental Strength. Mental strength requires a three-pronged approach-managing our thoughts, regulating our emotions, and behaving productively despite our circumstances. While all three areas can be challenging, it is often our thoughts that make it most difficult to be mentally strong. Daily, our internal monologue (self-talk) narrates our experience.
Our self-talk guides our emotions and behavior and influences the way we interact in our environment and with others. It also plays a major role in how we feel about ourselves, other people, and the world in general.
