The pressure, guilt, and worry that comes along with parenting is sometimes so overwhelming that we just breakdown. We get frustrated to the point of crying and yelling which makes it easy to question whether parenting was a good choice. Also, no two children will react the same to any given upbringing; therefore, parents have to find ways to cut themselves a break instead feeling like their the ones to blame.

Teens avoid parental advice in favor of the chaotic whims of their peers; even when it is obvious to everyone that they are not mature enough to make those life decisions. As parents, it's hard to strike the right balance of help and support while allowing your tween/teen the necessary space to grow and gain independence. Providing INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, and GROUP counseling to teens and young adults to help foster unity, independence, and change.

Counseling helps you learn more about yourself and the person you want to become. It helps you have a safe place to talk about your feelings and gain confidence.
Services
It is not easy to take steps to ask for help.
It is hard for us as adults to acknowledge that we cannot do it alone, but it is extremely hard for teens to admit that they need help.
They feel as if they should be able to figure it out or do not want to be embarrassed for not knowing.
There is so much vulnerability in opening up to a counselor, but yet it shows so much courage.
Helping teens learn how to uplift themselves while building healthy relationships as they navigate life's challenges.
Creating a space where teens feel safe and comfortable to discuss the stresses of life and gain acceptance in who they are as individuals.
My personal experience of being an adolescent with anxiety and body image struggles has since grown into a passion for helping adolescents and young adults through this gauntlet of social media comparisons, peer pressure, and the like.
Finding support in a world of mental health stigma can be very daunting, but I hope that your adolescent will find that working with me is easy, and that it is okay to ask for help, and to be open to the support given.
My goal is to help your adolescent feel safe enough to be vulnerable and courageous enough to create the life they deserve and strive for.
The world can be challenging - from friends, family, school, social media, hobbies, and sports, there may be times where we experience difficulties in navigating our life.
This can feel lonely, like nobody really "gets" you or understands what you are going through.
Growing up I felt a responsibility to have everything "figured out", which led to many racing thoughts.
My body could not keep up with my mind and I started to experience anxious feelings.
With the help of those around me, I learned how to understand where my thoughts were coming from and how to help them.
I love a challenging kid!
Most likely because I was also a challenging kid.
In middle school and high school, I made many poor decisions and had to visit the Principal's office on a few occasions.
I was stubborn.
I relished proving a teacher wrong and that I was correct.
I thought I knew everything.
I enjoyed talking to all of my classmates whenever I could, regardless of whether the teacher approved.
Best of all, I was a horrible driver which resulted in several embarrassing accidents that frustrated my parents, but they supported me through it - financially and emotionally.
Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life.
Being a teenager has never been an easy time period to get through; it is filled with doubt and worry.
There is overwhelming pressure to fit in and yet be unique.
Teens can often feel as though they are lost, or unable to cope with the stress.
We provide a safe and fun place for them to work through these emotions and gain confidence.
Counseling services is not an easy choice to make - opening up to a stranger at any age can be very hard.
