YFCA was established in 1969 when a group of residents saw a need for a social service agency to benefit the community.
Since its founding, YFCA has been an unwavering advocate for families in need, helping those most challenged to overcome adversity with privacy and dignity.
Today, the YFCA is one of Long Island's leading community-based social service agencies, providing a full breadth of services from youth summer camps to supportive counseling and substance abuse programs.

YFCA is excited to be partnering with Oyster Bay High School to offer this opportunity to explore digital citizenship.
We're looking for motivated students to work with the YFCA staff and Board of Directors to manage and update our new website.
Responsibilities include curating a monthly editorial calendar, uploading new content (such as photos and blog posts), data entry, translating pages from English to Spanish, and helping with overall strategy to support YFCA's effort to further engage with our community.
