We are a team of diverse, culturally competent, and experienced counselors. We provide individual, couples, and family counseling services across the lifespan. Our goal is to increase the participation of counseling within the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities, LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals who have been marginalized.

At J. We believe everyone can benefit from a non-biased and non-judgmental perspective. Imagine being able to talk to someone about deep rooted concerns that you have kept hidden for years.

Imagine being able to finally free yourself to live the life you have always imagined. Counseling is the place to unlock your true potential and heal from those past behaviors, secrets, hurt, loss, and trauma. Free yourself by scheduling an appointment with a therapist today!

Online therapy, also known as telemental health, is a growing field.

Supervision is an important part of the education, training, and development of a professional counselor.
I have adapted Littrell, Lee-Borden, and Lorenz Model (1979) supervision model to provide a practical approach that fit my style of supervision.
This model matches the supervisor's behavior to the developmental needs of the supervisee.
The four stages to this model include:.
Review of case notes and other documentation and/or recorded client sessions, as feasible and appropriate.
Effective Strategies to Increase Participation of Black Men as Clients and Counselors (MMHAS 2021).
During this event, a presentation titled 'Effective Strategies to Increase Participation of Black Men as Clients and Counselors' was shared.
It was presented by: Dr. Jason Branch, LPC, ACS, NCC Licensed Professional Counselor No More Martyrs is a mental health awareness campaign that seeks to build a community of support for Black women and girls.
Each July, No More Martyrs hosts the Minority Mental Health Awareness Summit to showcase the unique perspectives of diverse mental health providers, consumers, caregivers and community members.
Back in the spring of 2002, I was kicked out of college (financial reasons) and decided to move to Florida to live with my uncle Greg Snow.
I worked two full-time jobs and a part time job to save enough money to return to school.
During that time, I was exposed to a book called "The Pact."
I read it over and over again.
The story was about three young Black men from Newark, NJ who made a Pact with each other that they would become doctors.
The men and their shared stories inspired me and changed the outcome of my life.
