I grew up in Alaska and originally moved to Wyoming in 1982 where I lived until 1988. I left to attend graduate studies at the University of Kansas, Lawrence. From there, I relocated to Oregon, only to return to this wonderful State in 2015. While in Oregon, I owned and operated my private practice from 2007-2015, until moving back to Wyoming. I have over 35 years of work experience in the field of Mental Health, to include the field of medical services.
My practice involves: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Strengths Based Counseling; Mindfulness Therapy. I have an eclectic practice involving a healthy "mixture" of techniques and skills that can enhance your journey toward your well-being. I look forward to working with you. Counseling has its benefits and risks. Since counseling often involves discussing unpleasant aspects of your life, you may initially feel sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness, and helplessness.
These uncomfortable feelings are short lived and resolve, if not partially, completely, as the issues are addressed.
