Ivyland Counseling Center is a full service community based outpatient counseling center. D., ICC is designed to engage with individuals from the local community who are seeking psychological assistance for a wide variety of difficulties. We provide services to individuals, couples, and groups across all ages. Any services rendered are based on a "best practices" model of treatment.

Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples. Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.

We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives.

Counseling is the application of psychological principles within a therapeutic relationship.
The goal of counseling is to provide the client with support and alternative solutions to specific problems during stressful times.
Psychological testing is a way of understanding a variety of dimensions within the individual.
Most people are familiar with questionnaires in magazines and popular media that provide a score on some characteristic.
The difference between these types of questionnaires and a psychological assessment is based in the types of tests being used, and the breadth of secondary data collected.
Christopher Ballintyn graduated with his Master's Degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University and has experience working with mental health and substance abuse.
Tibor Baukal is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years' experience working with children, families, and adults in all levels of care, in hospitals and residential care settings, people's homes, and community agencies.
His approach is a systemic and relational one, understanding individuals in the context of their relationships, identities, and communities that they inhabit and that define them.
Before your first appointment please call your insurance carrier and verify that you will be covered for the services you receive from your therapist.
Your insurance plan is a partnership between you, your insurance company, and your therapist, depending on the reimbursement agreement.
It is not a contract between the therapist and the insurance company.
Your company may base its allowance in a fixed fee or HMO schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees.
In some cases, there are contractual agreements between us and your insurance company concerning fees.

If you do not bring these forms with you we will have you fill them out before you are seen.
You can go over any information that you are unsure about with your therapist on the first session.
Your health information is personal and private, and we must protect it.
