I am married to a wonderful man and we live in Seattle with our young daughter. I enjoy relaxing with yoga, connecting with friends and roaming Seattle's many parks and playgrounds. I view therapy as a partnership and a relationship between therapist and patient; both working together to address the issues which brought the individual to therapy. I prefer to begin therapy with a focus on the current feelings of unhappiness and how to provide some immediate relief.
From there we will examine past hurts that, often times, without being grieved, continue to cause deep pain. As we examine these pieces together I continually work to encourage individuals to listen to their authentic, personal inner voice. I believe this internal voice is all too often silenced by the many obligations, pressures and responsibilities of our day-to-day life.
The importance of learning to listen to one's own heart cannot be overstated. Another vital piece of therapy comes as we examine feelings created during the therapist/patient interaction.

Services
Wheelchair access is available at my office.
Please let me know in advance that you will need these services and please prepare to arrive 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled session.
My office also allows service animals, please let me know in advance if you will be bringing an emotional or physical support animal with you.
I see patients weekly.
The connection we establish in session soothes discomfort and opens up opportunities for more connection continuing forward.
When more than one-week lapses, our connection suffers and defenses take over.

I am paneled with several insurance companies.
Please contact me directly for more information on if your insurance company qualifies.
If it does, please bring your insurance card to your first session and be prepared to pay for that session out of pocket.
In the event I am not contracted with your insurance company, but you have a PPO plan with them, I am able to submit claims on your behalf.
Once again, please bring your card to your first session.
If neither of the above situations applies to you, but you will still like to pursue reimbursement with your insurance on your own, please let me know and I will provide you a superbill.

Continue forward past the first group of buildings on the right (Lozier and Goldsmith Buildings).
Continue past one more right and then take your 4th right into the parking lot for the Careage Building.
Once inside the building, you will be in a large foyer.
Proceed down the left hand hallway until you reach the first room on your left, which will be a small waiting room.
Restrooms are located a bit further down the same hallway on the right along with a water fountain.
