I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and certified Sex Therapist.
I work with clients to create personalized plans to meet their specific needs.
My method include carefully helping clients analyze the root of their concerns, build healthy communication skills, set boundaries, and ultimately overcome emotional or relational challenges.
I am passionate about positive sex education and empowering individuals to love themselves and to be authentic selves.
The most fulfilling part of my day is witnessing my clients reach greater happiness and satisfaction with themselves and/or in their relationships.

There are many reasons why couples counseling might be the modality of choice.
Possibilities may include repetitive arguments, premarital/pre-commitment anxieties or issues, problems of infidelity, life-stage issues (such as managing career, children and the relationship or perhaps the empty-nest phase, or mid-life issues), or phases in which one partner has changed in a manner that is different from the other partner.
Often, couples fear the 'need' to go to counseling, and as a result, they often wait until the relationship is in a crisis.
Marriage Counseling is not typically covered by insurance and will not be billed to insurance.*.
Marriage counseling is a variant of couples therapy.
However, there are some issues that can be more specific to marriage counseling.
For some couples, the internal models of what it means to be married can 'click' and they find themselves unconsciously emulating unhealthy relationships they witnessed in their childhood.
For some people, this becomes more pronounced once they are married.
Additionally, issues of money management, time management, division of labor, and roles in relation to children can become more pronounced in married couples.
We are trained to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of all mental health disorders; including but not limited to: Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, ADD, ADHD, PTSD, Borderline Personality.
I also work with Trauma victims, Physical and Sexual Abuse victims, Chronic Pain, and Parent-Child Relationships.
