The Bresler Center
The Bresler Center was established in 1989 by Dr. David Bresler, the founder and former Executive Director of the UCLA Pain Control Unit. Dr. Bresler was one of the first American scientists to seriously investigate and validate complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) during his tenure as Associate Clinical Professor in the UCLA Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and the UCLA Department of Psychology.

As a result, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy for Pain Management, and was appointed by President Clinton as a White House Commissioner on CAM Health Care Policy. Dr. Bresler has served on the editorial staff of eight professional journals and is listed in several editions of Who's Who and The Best Doctors In America.

His numerous radio and TV appearances have made him a well-known authority in the field of mind/body medicine, and he's been featured or interviewed in many popular magazines, including Time, Newsweek, Reader's Digest, People, US, and Prevention.

The Bresler Center provides a wide variety of diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services in a nourishing environment specifically designed to optimize and facilitate the healing process.
Through their pioneering work at UCLA, Doctor Bresler and his colleagues found that many chronic pain problems that were previously thought to be hopeless could, in fact, be treated effectively using a unique interdisciplinary approach.
The Bresler Center was established to expand the availability of this approach to anyone interested in receiving information, advice, and compassionate support concerning his or her health status.
We view the universal life force as a benevolent process that stimulates and supports human development rather than an adversary which must be overcome in order to survive.
Our basic philosophy is that no physical, mental, or emotional problem is hopeless, and we will do our best to help anyone who we believe might benefit from our care.
Our mission is to offer our patients, clients, and research subjects the same high quality of personalized and compassionate care that we demand for ourselves and our families.
Clients and research subjects are also seen in our Ventura (632 Las Posas Rd, Camarillo, CA 93010) and West Los Angeles (1800 Thayer Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90025) offices.
