We offer body-based contemplative counseling, specifically focused on the nervous system; here-and-now awareness; and relationships to ourselves, others, and the natural world, to unwind old patterns from the bottom up, leading to more energy, empowerment, and intimacy. By working with the wisdom of the body, mind, and spirit in a space of safe, nonjudgmental connection, we can uncover our innate impulses towards healing, wholeness, and understanding.

We each have our own specialties (such as PTSD treatment, imaginal work, couples therapy, etc.), yet we share a passion for helping you explore your inner world; integrate difficult experiences; and feel more healthy, whole, and nourished. Everyone needs support to deepen into our own experience, find regulation and groundedness, and open to showing up as more of ourselves in the world, with the strength and freedom to offer our gifts.

We do not accept insurance. However, we are happy to provide superbills, which may be eligible for HSA or FSA coverage.
Services
Somatic Spiritual Counseling is a collective of body- and mindfulness-based therapists and coaches who embrace holistic health.
We want to help you find empowerment, flow, authenticity, and the ability to live life in the here and now.
We believe that through developing a relationship with the body and the natural world, we can learn to experience and digest blocks to living as fully as possible and offering our gifts to the world.
We are students of the nervous system, Buddhism, yoga, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness meditation, plant medicine, Taoist medicine, energy work, shamanism, Gestalt therapy, Freudian theory, Internal Family Systems, and more.
All of our services embrace mindfulness and strive for a regulated nervous system.
We believe that the body, mind, and spirit must be worked with to uncover lasting healing and stir inspiring purpose.
If you are looking to build a more intimate relationship with your body, understand what it is trying to tell you, and digest old experiences, Somatic Therapy is for you.
This is often a next step for people who have done talk therapy in the past and know that there is a deeper level of healing available, but aren't quite sure how to access it.
Would you like to be added to our email list, where we occasionally share thoughts on mental health & spirituality, as well as new offerings & free resources?
We do not accept insurance.
However, we are happy to provide a superbill, which may be eligible for HSA or FSA coverage.
We donate 1% of profits to the environment.
Feel free to let us know a bit of what you're looking for, or what you've been struggling with, or just ask us to get back to you for a brief consultation call.
We would love to match you with the best practitioner for your needs.
My journey into the world of mental health services has come through my own severe struggles with adoption trauma, addiction, and long-term depression.
Such conditions have made me an avid researcher of the human mind and heart, and a passionate experimenter of the means by which we transform both.
This research and experimentation has (thankfully) fine-tuned my relationship skills and made me fluent in many languages of internal exploration. The most impactful of all of these have been the practices of meditation and somatic psychotherapy.
Years ago, a powerful medicine woman acutely saved my life after years of debilitating pain simply by holding her hands over my body and visualizing change inside.
The chance encounter altered the course of my life.
It set my heart aflame.
My vision asks for a depth of healing that is only possible when mind, body, and spirit are given equal attention and weight.
I have traveled to the jungles of the Amazon to learn traditional pathways of healing, studied Buddhist philosophy and practice, and learned an ancient Taoist tradition of healing that maps the human psyche onto the body, using the elements of the natural world: earth, water, fire, plants, and minerals.
