I am a licensed psychologist practicing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, specializing in individual therapy with highly sensitive women (ages 18-64). I have completed training by Dr. Elaine Aron in working with highly sensitive people (HSPs) and am listed as a highly sensitive person (HSP)-knowledgeable therapist on Dr. Aron's site. My approach integrates humanistic, narrative, mindfulness, ACT, CBT, and solution-focused theories and techniques.
I help clients draw on their strengths and find ways to harness creativity, mindfulness, and an appreciation for nature and the arts on the path of holistic growth. In addition to clinical work, I provide consultation, supervision, training, and writing/photography services to other mental health and wellness professionals. These services are geared to helping professionals work more effectively with their highly sensitive clients.
I earned my M.S. in Community Counseling and my Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University. I'm a professional member of the Women of the North, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
