Creative Counseling is here to help you and your family. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I can help you with your daily struggles and assist you to heal and grow. Clients can relax in the unique therapeutic experience that I provide. My office is a warm and comfortable environment that is ideal for adults, families, and children.

A group room is available for family sessions and play therapy. Snacks and water are provided during sessions. Clients are seen for an affordable sliding scale fee, based on household income. Office hours at this time are Mondays through Fridays. I am able to schedule evening appointments to accommodate those who would prefer to come after work. I provide individual, couples, children, and family therapy.

I have over eight years of clinical experience and extensive training in trauma-based counseling for children.
I help families cope with life adjustments, such as divorce, separation, and blended families and also work with adolescents that experience low-self esteem, behavior problems, and relationship issues.
Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that involves more than one member of a nuclear family.
Therapists conduct sessions to help families deal with important issues that are interfering with the functioning of the family environment.
This type of counseling can be effective with families that are affecting by trauma or an adjustment (ie: divorce, death in family) which affect the family.
The therapist assesses each family and the presenting problem and works the members to encourage growth and developments.
Child and adolescent therapy uses a variety of techniques and methods used to help clients that are experiencing difficulties with their emotions or behavior.
Therapeutic games and play therapy are some of the creative techniques used to achieve these goals.
Establishing rapport makes it much easier for the child to express his/her thoughts and feelings and to use the therapy in a helpful way.
