I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist in private practice in Manhattan. With me, you won't find a stereotypical blank faced analyst, but instead a warm, responsive presence and an interactive, deeply collaborative approach to therapy. Whether our work entails better understanding how your past informs your present or examining here and now moments you'd like to deepen or improve upon, I'm here to help.

Primarily trained in relational psychoanalytic psychotherapy and trauma treatment, I offer special insights to those with relationship problems, LGBTQ+/GSM issues and those experiencing discomfort and disconnection with their bodies, whether based in trauma, chronic pain or illness, gender dysphoria, chronic dieting or disordered eating. As your therapist, I'll focus on developing a strong partnership with you, and in doing so will help you better understand yourself and your relationships.

In addition to my private practice, I also offer clinical supervision to other therapists, consult with organizations, providing training and clinical supervision, and teach at Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service.
Services
I charge $150 per hour of individual clinical supervision and case consultation, prorated as needed for longer sessions.
Clinical supervision can occur in my office or remotely, and may be counted towards your professional licensure depending on your state and profession's regulations.
I've provided qualifying supervision for LMSWs, LMFTs, LPCs and LMHCs from New York and New Jersey that have been accepted toward licensure.
I was long supported by dedicated supervisors who reduced my fees earlier in my career to make high quality supervision accessible.
A: Many people who consider beginning therapy find that they are capable of managing many difficult situations but realize that the same old patterns keep popping up that they just don't know how to handle.
They find themselves tired of struggling and increasingly exasperated with the sense that they have "tried everything" while feeling stuck and helpless, and not moving towards the lives they want and deserve.
As Anais Nin states in her poem "Risk" - "And the day came when the risk to remain right in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
