Sometimes life's twists and turns lead us down unexpected paths and we find ourselves in a place where we no longer recognize ourselves or feel utterly lost and confused about how to proceed. From such a place we may resort to doing whatever it takes to survive; sometimes losing aspects of ourselves in the process. Finding ourselves again or the path forward can prove to be a long, painful and arduous process, which can feel especially isolating and scary.

Having a trauma-informed therapist to guide and support you through it can help in many ways. Finding the right therapist can be overwhelming and confusing but is vital to obtaining a positive therapeutic experience and outcome. Therapy is an investment in yourself and your future. I invite you to peruse this website and learn a bit more about my approach to therapy.

If you think we might work well together or are interested in one of the groups then please call to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation in which you may ask questions that will assist you in determining whether we will be a good therapeutic fit.
Services
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) in the state of Colorado.
I firmly believe as humans we are all doing our best with what we know and the resources at our disposal.
Our best varies substantially as circumstances, resources, support, and our resulting ability to manage problems fluctuate.
Having a place to slow down and gain better awareness and understanding of our problems and ourselves in the context of our lives and relationships can be quite beneficial, even transformational.
Please note that all services will be offered remotely via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding.
I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents for a variety of issues.
Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length and occur on a weekly basis following completion of the initial assessment and treatment plan.
However, this can be adjusted to meet client needs after goals and a therapeutic relationship have been established.
Following an initial phone consultation, we will schedule a therapeutic intake, in which we will review paperwork and address any questions and logistical concerns you may have before completing the intake assessment.
