Taking care of your mental health needs is important in reaching a healthy quality of life. It is an honor to be able to create healthy therapeutic relationships to support others in their journey of personal growth and discovery. I understand what it means to overcome adversity and to maintain that level of perseverance as more of life's challenges continue to knock at the front door.
My practice is not about the removal of adversity, but about developing the inner strength needed to grow in spite of its presence. While I utilize an Eclectic therapeutic treatment approach, the treatment modality I mostly adhere to is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Other theoretical treatment approaches are also incorporated into the treatment process, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy.
I believe CBT to be extremely effective in helping those suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, and a number of issues requiring behavioral adjustments to meet life's challenges.
