Services
Each of our providers brings different skills, experiences, and interest areas to our practice.
Although each of us works as an individual practitioner, we also collaborate when needed.
I have had the privilege of providing therapy in Wilmington, NC since 1996.
My passion is connecting with people who have a desire to live life to the fullest.
I believe that growth and healing are fostered in an environment of kindness, compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.
It takes courage to engage in therapy and be open to learning new tools to cope with life's challenges.
Potentials offers a variety of services to suit your needs.
They include Assessment Services, Psychotherapy Services, Wellness Services, Co-Parenting Services, and Early Kindergarten Evaluations.
At Potentials, we specialize in psychological, psycho-educational, and school-focused neuropsychological assessment for children and adolescents.
Our goal is to provide an evaluation that is specific to the individual, provides information on strengths as well as weaknesses, and answers the referral questions.
The best way to determine if your child "needs" more specialized help is to ask yourself whether you need more information to help your child.
Are there issues that are interfering with his/ her ability to do well in school, get along with peers, or get along with you or other family members?
Is your child struggling at school and no one seems to know why?
Is there a family history of learning issues, or anxiety issues for example, and you see some of the same things with your child?
Do you suspect your child may show signs of autism or dyslexia?
Each form is specific to the provider you will be seeing.
This document outlines our policies and includes a Consent for Treatment that new patients need to be aware of, and sign in agreement.
This applies to all patients, children and adults.
Please complete only if the patient is a child/ minor.
Please complete only if the patient is an adult.
If you are coming for an Early Entry to Kindergarten evaluation, this is the ONLY packet you will need to read and sign.
Este documento describe nuestras politicas e incluye un consentimiento para el tratamiento que los nuevos pacientes deben conocer y firmar un acuerdo.
Each independent practitioner is "in-network" for different insurance plans and is able to provide out of network benefits from other insurance plans.
Each provider has information about fees and insurance in their individual forms/ paperwork on the Forms page.
It is always advised for you to check with your insurance plan about possible benefits.
If you are planning to use your mental health benefits for therapy, please contact your individual plan prior to your first appointment, as benefit plans vary from person to person.
