Washington Falls Psychotherapy and Consultation is a multi-disciplinary group of five psychotherapists, each with over 25 years of experience as mental health professionals. As a group, we serve clients throughout the lifespan, from toddlers to older adults. Assessment and treatment is offered for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing a variety of challenges.

The diversity of our approaches allows us to work collaboratively and find the best treatment modality for our clients. We believe that in a safe environment, with the guidance of caring professionals, people can find solutions to their troubles and develop new skills to handle life's challenges. The therapists at Washington Falls Psychotherapy and Consultation are actively committed and involved in staying current with the expanding field of psychotherapy and assessment.

Each of our therapists is an active member of an ongoing weekly consultation group for couples and families, the Family Reflecting Team. We also participate in other ongoing professional consultation and supervision groups.
Services
Dr. Nackman is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience working with clients of all ages.
She specializes in work with children, adolescents, and their families.
Referral issues often include behavioral problems, attentional and impulse difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and developmental issues, depression and anxiety, peer and relationship difficulties, separation and divorce, regulatory difficulties, and trauma.
Adult clients often focus on relationship issues, struggles with depression and anxiety, separation and divorce, parenting concerns, and issues related to the family of origin.
Studies indicate that a positive therapeutic relationship is more essential to success in therapy than reliance on a particular theoretical basis.
In my more than 25 years of experience, I find this to be true.
My practice includes children and adolescents, seen both individually and in family therapy, couples and adults individually.
I have extensive training in family, couples, grief and sand tray therapy.
I participate in several supervision and consultation groups as well as attend training workshops particular to my interest.
Dr. Perkins has been in practice as a Clinical Psychologist for 24 years.
She has worked with adult populations in a wide variety of clinical settings.
These include: university counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals, medical clinics, community mental health centers and solo and group private practices.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Perkins does individual and couples therapy.
She also participates weekly on the Family Reflecting Team.
She uses a strength based approach; helping people access and utilize the skills they may not recognize within themselves to address their current challenges.
I have more than 30 years experience working with individuals, couples and families in many parts of the U.S.and Europe.
In my experience as a clinical nurse specialist and marriage and family therapist, I have worked with a wide range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, acute and chronic illness, infidelity, grief, loss and trauma.
I specialize in Couples Therapy and relationship issues, premarital counseling and life span issues for women and men.
My goal is to help clients find the strength and resilience that enables them to rebound and grow as they negotiate significant life challenges in their marriage, and in their relationships with their children, parents, friends, careers, and health.
