You and I are about to REBUILD, RESTORE, and REIGNITE the relationships in your life that should be bringing you joy and fulfillment. The thing is this. There are two kinds of loneliness. There is the longing for companionship and the yearning for sharing your life. Then there is even the more profound loneliness of sitting next to your love and feeling miles and miles apart.

You will learn tools that help you slay these negative feelings. People in your life may call you selfish. They probably want you to "see the good in your life." They just don't get it, do they? They don't understand just how resource-draining these feelings are for you. In fact, there's nothing that drains your battery quicker than bouts of depression and anxiety.

As a military spouse, I understand the need for wanting a therapist who understands the deployment and reintegration cycle and who gets the challenges and sacrifices military families make every day. My professional and personal experience with service members make me a great fit for you regardless of branch of service or vocation.
Services
When you enter my office, the first thing I want you to feel is safe.
Safe to feel whatever you feel without judgement; safe to be vulnerable; safe to explore hard issues.
When I see a client kick off their shoes and curl their feet under them, I know they have found a space to be themselves.
For some, access to services can be challenging for many reasons; child care issues, health issues, transportation issues or lack of access due to length of commute.
By request, I offer video therapy sessions in 30 min and 50 min blocks.
There is always apprehension when you start something new, and counseling is no different.
Therapy is an hour each week where you get to focus completely on yourself and your needs.
We will explore why you aren't able to manage your anxiety.
You will be provided with insight as to why your relationship isn't fulfilling.
You aren't doing this alone, you will be supported throughout the entirety of your journey of growth and encouraged as you work toward and attain your goals.
Have you ever noticed that the moment you decide to take charge of your life, you begin to feel relief?
Even before the change has occurred, you feel better because you have proactively done something that is about you!
We will collaborate and create direction for your therapy and your life.
You are the expert in defining and prioritizing what that looks like, and I will honor that.
There is no judgement or shaming.
I offer a safe space for you to be you.
I will provide honest and caring feedback to you when I see that your choices are not reflective of your goals, and I will cheer you on when I see authenticity in your actions.
It's no secret, relationships are hard.
They require intentional effort and continuous attention.
Whether you've been together 1 year or 50 years, relationships must grow and adapt to meet the needs of both people.
When you feel miles apart from your love or when the bickering and fighting seem to outweigh the smiles, it can feel overwhelming and uncertain.
If you are experiencing conflict or irritation at your partner, marriage counseling can help give you the tools to find your love again.
If you are experiencing a loss of connection, low intimacy, a feeling like "they just don't get it, " or simply need help having some hard discussions, marriage counseling is an option that will help you walk through the challenges.
Whatever the case, these examples are just some of the scenarios that can benefit from family therapy.
When the family comes in together, no one feels scapegoated as the "problem."
Each member becomes part of the solution.
We improve communication.
Let's take a close look at the way family members are speaking to each other and make sure there is mutual kindness and respect.
We improve your feelings of closeness.
Allowing yourselves to be vulnerable with each other through hard conversations and remembering to laugh and enjoy each other create a sense of warmth, love and trust.
