Parent and Child Counseling, Synergistic Play Therapy, and Sleep Consulting: When you or your child is losing sleep. From day one, we question how we will parent our children: how we get pregnant, our birth plan, will we nurse, will we bedshare, send them to private school, make them take piano lessons. We do everything we dreamed of doing as a parent, and yet somewhere along the way it begins to feel as though every day is a circus.
Dreading bedtime, only to fall into bed and wonder how you survived yet another day of powerless parenting. Be assured that if you are currently seeking support for you or your children, then you are far from messing up. When you make the decision to reach out for support, to attune to your parenting intuition, you are already the best parent for your child.
I want to coach you, the caregiver, every step of the way so that you can parent your child with confidence through the process. Through collaboration, your investment will result in a positive and thriving relationship with your children - day and night.

Remember when you held your baby and had amazing hopes and dreams of who they will become and all the adventures they will experience?
You probably didn't imagine feeling isolated or not in control of your family life.
You now have a stack of parenting books on your bedside table and have registered for a workshop or two - but none of them speak specifically to your struggles in your family.
I want to help you explore, examine, and discover solutions that are unique to you and your child.
Through the power of play, I can meet and understand the challenges and motivations of your child.

Your child's teacher just emailed you (again) trying to delicately tell you that your child has acted out (again), and your heart sinks.
You try to respond gracefully and with a sincere apology - and yet you are at a loss with how to help your child.
It's easy to wonder where you went wrong in your parenting, getting lost in the dark without anyone to answer your questions.
I want to shed some light for you, so you can see your child in a new way, to have the compassion that has been hard to find, and to offer you and your child some new tools to overcome their challenges.

Dysfunctional sleep behaviors can create havoc in the whole family.
You hear your child cry out in the middle of the night, and a heavy weight falls on you.
You somehow drag yourself to sitting and go to them, trying to rack your brain for what you're going to do this time.
You're probably trying everything to put your child to bed, but it feels like you're part of a circus.
When you finally fall back in bed and pray that they stay asleep (just this once?), it can feel like you're in it all alone.
