Eating disorders are complex, life-threatening but treatable illnesses.
Eating disorders often lead to serious disturbances in eating behaviors among millions of adolescents and adults throughout the United States.
Individuals struggling with eating disorders often express concern about their body shape or weight along with feelings of distress associated with their eating habits.
Many people with eating disorders suffer from an extreme desire to be thin and feel devastated by a fear of weight gain.
Many never address their sexual needs.
As a result, their sexual frustration can damage their overall well-being.
If you have a problem with your sexuality, you might feel defective and inadequate in other areas too.
Sexual problems are widespread.
However, when people try to address their sexual challenges themselves, if they do not have professional support, they can find themselves getting stuck in their old patterns.
Sexuality is complex, and the factors contributing to the development and persistence of our sexual problems can operate outside of our conscious awareness.
