I am a Clinical Psychologist and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist providing individual and couples therapy for the Washington, DC metro area. Conveniently located in downtown Bethesda, I offer daytime, evening, and weekend appointments. My approach to therapy is guided by the power of human connection and evidence-based research. The relationships we hold with others - partners, family members, friends - impact our well-being and quality of life.

In addition, the relationship we have with ourselves also influences our mental health. With both my individual clients and couples, I address issues of stress, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, quality of sex life, gender and sexual identity exploration, life crisis, and life transitions. I use techniques informed by cognitive-behavior theory, Imago relationship theory, and mindfulness-based practice.

We all experience times when life feels particularly hard, and the stress is too much to handle alone. Whether it's stress from work, family, romantic relationships, major life decisions, or past traumatic events, individual therapy is a great place to turn for support.
Services
I'm an engaging and warm therapist with more than 10 years of experience providing individual and couples therapy.
Originally from Chicago, I moved to the DC area in 2005 to pursue my PhD in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University (GW).
During my journey to become a psychologist, I also took some time to become a wife and mother - 2 kids & 3 fur-kids.
As a working-parent and partner, I can relate to many issues that arise for my individual clients and couples.
Following the completion of my APA-accredited internship at George Mason University's Counseling and Psychological Services Center, I joined the well-known group practice of Guttman & Pearl Associates, and worked in both their Rockville, MD and Washington, DC offices.
