Individual therapy can also help you overcome difficulties with trauma, mood, and relationship issues. I strive to support and promote constructive change in your emotional health and relationships. Together, we look closely at what is causing feelings of dissatisfaction, lack of motivation, fear and pain. I truly enjoy and see a great deal of success working with couples on a variety of issues.

I can help couples on pre and post marital issues, couples going through divorce or separation, parenting issues, trust and infidelity, pre and postpartum counseling to help new mothers and fathers adjust to parenthood, or counseling to repair and strengthen the marriage. The family is often our first and most lasting connection to the world. Family relationships are often the most influential in development and wellbeing.

Although the people in the family may remain the same, the way each relates to one another does not. The relationships change as different members of the family grow and change.

Relationships are one of the most important aspects of our lives.
We all want to feel understood by others and connected to our family and friends.
The family is often our first and most lasting connection to the world.
Family relationships are often the most influential in development and wellbeing.
Although the people in the family may remain the same, the way each relates to one another does not.
The relationships change as different members of the family grow and change.
However, not all members of the family are always ready for the changes at the same time.
Well functioning families are comfortable with a good balance of togetherness as well as moments of separation.
Adolescence (age 12-21) is an exciting time to be a human!
We experience a spectacular rate of growth not only physically, but also emotionally, and cognitively.
The world begins to open up and become larger than it previously had been for us.
This brings with it a host of ideas and questions as well as an incredible energy with which to pursue them!
Adolescence can also prove trying for a young person and for parents.
It can be a time of increased conflict and pain as the adolescent's healthy and natural drive for increasing autonomy bumps into a parent's healthy and natural drive to protect and set limits.
