We all face stress at some point in our lives. It may be caused by transitions or major life events such as physical illness, becoming a parent, losing a loved one, going through a traumatic event, relationship issues, or work stress. Psychotherapy aims to help you understand your emotions towards better control of them, improve your experience of life, change unhealthy behaviors, relieve emotional distress, improve your role in relationships, and cope with stressors.

As children grow, they are faced with social, emotional, relational, and academic experiences that shape their overall development, and being a teen is a particularly challenging time filled with unique stressors and pressures.

There are enough barriers to receiving mental health support like a busy family and/or work schedule and commuting.
To alleviate a barrier, I now offer therapy sessions via a secured video platform that you can access from a computer or phone.
For most cases, I recommend that the initial sessions take place in-person to establish rapport and to collaborate with you to determine therapeutic goals before transitioning to teletherapy.
Please contact me for more details.
