We offer group therapy and workshops providing therapeutic support that incorporates mindfulness for anger management, addiction recovery, grief support, and more. We host free to attend drop-in and virtual group meditation, as well as workshops focused on the practices of meditation and mindfulness.

Our team consists of highly skilled, diversely qualified clinicians with specialties that include the integration of mindfulness skills and meditation, as well as addiction and recovery support, somatic-based therapeutic practices, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)- among other specialties. They are psychotherapists first and foremost, and each clinician has their own personal relationship to mindfulness in addition to their training in mental health care.

We are constantly learning and growing and we want to share our discoveries and stories with you! Stay connected, inspired, and informed about offerings in our practice and our CMP community. Andersonville Psychology is a group practice that focuses heavily, though not exclusively, on providing affirmative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care for the LGBTQIA* communities.

The skill of mindfulness can be strengthened and honed with practice just as any skill can.

We aim to provide services to people who do not typically have access to therapy.
Anger management is a 10-week curriculum-based group combining classic anger management skills and mindfulness.
The group will explore the evolutionary role of anger, when anger is appropriate, the difference between assertiveness and aggressiveness, and how to differentiate between anger, fear, and frustration.
This 6-week group is intended for anyone who has experienced grief and loss (within a year) and is finding their path to grieving in ways that are healthier and offer comfort.
As the body is where the emotions dwell and express themselves, the co-facilitators will encourage the utilization of creative interventions, such as movement, dance, art-making, and both verbal and non-verbal storytelling to support the process of grief.
We have clinicians in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna PPO, United Healthcare/Optum PPO, and Cigna PPO.
We are not in-network with any HMO insurance plans.
If you wish to use insurance, please let us know during our phone consultation.
We also encourage you to verify your benefits and make sure you are clear on what out-of-pocket expenses you can expect.
For clients who have plans with which we are in-network, we will collect any copay/coinsurance or other amount you owe each time we meet, and then we will submit claims to the insurance company.
