The first appointment is an intake appointment.
It is more of an information gathering session which is 55 minutes long.
Follow up appointments are 45 to 55 minutes long This is dependent on what your health insurance covers and allows.
Appointment lengths can vary from insurances.
At the beginning of the first appointment, we review the Notice of Privacy, Informed Consent for Treatment, and Financial Agreement.
Then, we begin the intake which is discussing your mood symptoms and life stress to explore what you want to work on in therapy and how I may be able to help.
