In my work with clients, I want to help empower individuals to better manage mental health concerns that get in the way of that person finding their best self. Most importantly, I want you to feel that you are not alone in whatever concern currently bothers you. Simply put, I want to help you discover improvements in your life. I genuinely care about all of my clients and I share in their successes and moments of pride and likewise, I want to be there for you in moments of pain and disappointment.
I stand by my work and I take great pride in the supportive services that I offer. We have the opportunity to quickly form a bond and establish trust in the therapeutic relationship. The importance of this cannot be minimized! I frequently check-in on your comfort with me, your general comfort in sessions, and your comfort in talking about your presenting issues.
I am upfront and transparent with you about my expertise, skills, and also my limitations. I tailor the therapy experience to your specific needs and your worldview, while checking-in to make sure we make modifications to how we work together as you need it.

At the end of the day - I want to tailor the counseling experience to the specific needs of the person(s) I am helping.
I am happy to explain in as much or as little depth as you would like, what I mean when I am referring to those above theoretical orientations.
I will talk about these approaches during the phone consultation and during sessions.
