Albert Camus states, "In the midst of winter, I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer." I encourage you to continue following your instincts and believe you or your loved one is worth helping now. Psychotherapy will challenge you to find the core of your being, to learn to cherish it, and to be honest with the most important person in your life--you.
Being in a "ditch" usually leads you to therapy, and although therapy is your towing service, it is even more so a journey of connection that leaves you with confidence and resources to drive smoothly. Throughout the striking seasons of our lives, we all experience heartache that seems unbearable, but heartache can be a time of great growth when we courageously face it.
As the revered C.S. Lewis states, Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world. Even though we are in the midst of soul's winter, not feeling God or love from those we cherish, it doesn't mean we aren't at the cusp of shooting up with immense growth from the plans He gives us to "prosper us" and give us renewed hope.

I increase my learning in both the educational and counseling spheres often, including recent study at the world-renown Creating Connections: New Frontiers in Science and Psychotherapy conference led by the famous leaders Drs.
Siegel, Johnson, etc.
In addition, I have a unique understanding of the learning process, having taught thousands of diverse adolescents.

I see male and female adolescents and adults and use a variety of psychotherapy approaches to help them.
My goal as a therapist is to provide a therapeutic environment of acceptance and empathy for you as I "walk alongside" you and assist you on a journey of self exploration, discovery, and healing.
On this path of healing my clients gain a renewed sense of hope and freedom as they find relief from painful emotional wounds, change unhelpful thought patterns and false core beliefs, and learn practical ways to take control of thoughts, urges, and emotions that keep them stuck in unwanted and destructive behavior patterns.
