There is no paint by numbers approach to helping patients get to a healthier, better place. You are unique and made up of a combination of your thoughts and experiences. The focus is on helping YOU get from where you are to where you want to be. Choosing a therapist or counselor is an important step in your journey. Before you choose the right person to work with, it is understandable that you would want to learn more to help you make the most informed decision.

Most recently, patients are being seen in person again with some protocols in place for everyone's wellbeing. Happiness looks different to everyone. Because no two people are the same, I tailor my therapy to meet your individual needs. Utilizing an in-depth approach, I will assist you in discovering, interpreting, and challenging that which is holding you back.

Adjusting certain behaviors and thoughts allows you to see things in a different, healthier way.
Services
In 2009, after becoming disenchanted with the rat race and feeling I was leading a life bereft of true meaning, I quit my job in the financial services industry.
I began seeking a career that would offer me the opportunity to fulfill my genuine purpose: helping people who are facing life difficulties.
After significant soul-searching and consultation with family, friends, former professors, and colleagues, I chose to pursue a profession in counseling, and I enrolled in graduate school.
Every day, I am grateful for the decision to change my career and life direction.
The primary differences between professional counseling and other types are professional counselors are bound by professional ethical standards, trained in professional education programs, licensed by accrediting bodies, and their techniques are premised on sound theoretical and research-supported principles.
Professional counseling is different from other helping activities as it is best distinguished by an emphasis on normal development, adaptation to changing life circumstances, and positive growth (Bedi & Domene, 2008).
Not at all.
People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out.
Everyone needs help now and then.
You already have some strengths that you've used before, and for whatever reason, they aren't working right now.
Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths.
In our work together, I'll help you identify what those strengths are and how to implement them again in what is happening now.
The difference is between someone who can do something and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
