Within the soul of each one of us lies a deep longing for connection. When our relationships don't fill that longing, feelings of depression, anxiety, fear or anger may surface. We try to find answers in order to build better relationships with our spouse, our children, friends, etc. But we are often disappointed because what we thought would bring us deep satisfaction, doesn't!

When this happens, feelings of depression, anxiety, fear or anger may surface. Or we may find ourselves feeling like everyone else runs our life but us! We may become co-dependent or have boundary issues. At the core of each struggle, we carry developed beliefs about ourselves, God, and life. If there is an inaccurate belief in any one of these areas, we will experience soul struggle.

As a gifted speaker and Biblically-based counselor, Janet walks her listeners & clients through these Soul Struggles as she aids them in their pursuit of wholeness and their desire to move toward intimacy with God. To help others move toward personal healing, growth, and intimacy with God by discovering the core issues that cause struggling in the soul.
Services
Janet Baylis Gassman grew up in a Christian home and at the age of 12, during a church service, she realized that her sin had put Jesus on the Cross.
It broke her heart.
With confession and repentance, she sought His forgiveness and received Jesus into her life.
She was later baptized and surrendered herself for His service.
Her heart longed to express her love by serving Him.
Life was not working for Janet.
She experienced deep disappointment that took her through some dark times.
It was during those dark days, as she worked through her own struggles Biblically, that she began to have a deep compassion for hurting women.
If you want to change your life and have a major breakthrough, Janet is the answer.
She is the most outstanding catalyst for change I have ever discovered in my quest for excellence.
I have always devoted myself to growing emotionally and spiritually, but with Janet's input, the ability to "get there" has been expedited tremendously.
Janet is not only well-educated and knowledgeable in every aspect of the Bible, but she knows exactly how to apply it to your life.
I highly recommend Janet as an outstanding presenter.
Janet has been a private practice counselor for 30 years.
She guides individuals with issues of anxiety, depression, relational and boundary issues and co-dependency.
Certified in AMAC (Adults Molested as Children), Janet specializes in healing the woundedness of those who have experienced abuse.
Although emotional pain leads the client to seek help, the need for healing often goes deeper than initially recognized.
Each psychological and emotional struggle points to a core spiritual struggle which Janet calls the "soul struggle."
When we discover our own spiritual core issue, (our personal soul struggle) we open the door to truth.
Truth, when applied, results in changed thinking and therefore, new behaviors.
Janet's unique visual presentation brings fresh clarity to "moving toward intimacy with God." God led Janet to an awareness of the original seven core issues or struggles, which resulted in the creation of a flow-chart.
Her flow-chart walks her audience through "how did I get here;" "what is the struggle I'm in;" and finally "how do I get out."
It then walks through each struggle with stories from Janet's life experience and biblical characters, then brings the reader to resolution.
Initially Janet intended to create about a 20 page booklet to be distributed at her meetings.
However, as she began to write, a still, small voice kept whispering: This isn't enough.
They need more.
This began a ten year process of going deeper and including additional tools and helps for each of the twelve struggles.
As the manuscript neared publication, Pastor Victor Seraya, a friend and Congo citizen - having escaped during persecution and currently pastor of New Season Church established for the African community - asked to read the manuscript.
